İSKEN produces electrical energy by meeting all customer requirements including the requirements of network security. To meet with this function, our basic principles are to fulfill our environmental obligations for a sustainable world, to use energy efficiently and to provide a healthy and safe working environment.

With this aim, İSKEN conducts its quality, environment, energy, occupational health and safety management systems integratedly and continuously improves them. The integrated management system covers the generation of electrical energy at the Sugözü Power Plant and all support activities required for this production.

As İSKEN;

Comply with the legal regulations that we are subject to and take into account international good practices,
Evaluate environmental aspects, occupational health and safety hazards, and take appropriate and adequate measures to eliminate or minimize significant environmental impact and OHS risks,

In the design, procurement, installation, operation, maintenance, commissioning and decommissioning processes, using advanced technologies and methods, to protect the environment and our employees, to prevent pollution, to limit the impact on climate change, to protect biodiversity and to manage energy efficiently,
Evaluate and manage all aspects of the impacts of planned changes,
Providing opportunities for employees and their representatives to participate and consult in decision-making processes related to occupational health and safety,

Scope
IMS which includes ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environment, ISO 50001 Energy, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, covers the production of electricity from coal at Sugözü Power Plant and all activities supporting it. The Head Office Building in Ankara is outside the scope of IMS.

The following clauses of the ISO 9001:2015 Standard are not applicable due to the nature of the product:

8.7 Control of Nonconforming Outputs

Works carried out by contractors / suppliers are within the scope of IMS.
